A SESSION FEE (retainer) of $125 will hold your reservation and pays for my time and talent only. The session fee is for one household (parents and children). Additional households (grandparents etc) can be added for an additional fee of $25 per additional household. Session retainer must be paid at the time of reservation. The retainer is not refundable, however it may be applied to future sessions. Payment plan available – just ask!
Illness happens, and if you need to reschedule your session, please provide at least 24 hours advance notice. One reschedule is granted without penalty, but subsequent cancellations and/or no shows and the retainer is forfeited and the session will be cancelled.
Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card. Returned checks are subject to a $30 insufficient funds fee.
Sessions can last between 1-3 hours. You won’t be rushed, and I encourage you to bring several wardrobe choices to ensure variety. And don’t forget your accessories! A great hat, a musical instrument or a piece of sports equipment, can all add a personal dimension to your portraits.
During your session, we will schedule a proofing/ordering session to be held in my proofing studio. Orders will be made at that time. 50% of the order total is due at time of order, with the balance due at delivery.
All orders must be paid in full before release of any portraits/ products.
After your ordering session, I will host a complimentary, password protected, online gallery so you may share your images with family and friends. The gallery will remain online for 10 days and additional prints/products can be purchased during this time, utilizing the online checkout. An additional 10 days of gallery hosting is available for a fee of $25.
My desire is to capture and present you at your best. Blemishes and breakouts will be retouched automatically, and at no charge. I will not remove beauty marks, birth marks or scars unless you expressly wish for me to.
While my goal is 100% client satisfaction, re-shoots will be at my discretion, and only for technical difficulties, not for regrettable wardrobe choices or hairstyles. I am more than happy to consult with you prior to your session.
The images from your session are copyrighted and prints and products are available only through willowdawn photography.
After much research, I have chosen a professional lab which only prints using the finest inks and papers. Please do not electronically copy or scan the images. I am happy to provide you with small electronic files of images purchased, for sharing via e-mail, blogs or facebook type sites.
Your purchased prints will be available for pick-up (or delivery, dependent on availability) approximately 2 weeks after your ordering session. Certain products, such as books and canvases can take as long as 6 weeks.
Due to the enormous amount of storage space required for digital files, I am only able to archive the images you purchase. Reprints are welcome at any time, at the full and current price.
