White House West Wing Tour | Washington DC

One of my husband’s colleagues works in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and arranged a West Wing tour for our family. It was a real honor to have a small glimpse into the everyday workings of the leaders of our great country. We then went over to the EEOB and wow,...

It just occurred to me…

That I’ve neglected to post an update after our family holiday to the UK. And I KNOW you’ve been waiting with bated breath for it. My most sincere apologies.
So the condensed and abridged version. My husband spent months planning an amazing adventure jammed packed with so many sights and experiences....

First stop… Rome.

The first 5 days of my trip were spent in Rome.  And I must say that it was my favorite stop on the journey.  What a fantastic city.  And I know it will sound silly, but one of my absolutely most favoritest things is the water fountains that run with cold, crisp, clear and delicious...

buon giorno!

I had an amazing trip to Italy!  Went to Rome, Ostia, Pompeii, Florence and Venice.  I’ve TONS of photos to share with you all, but since the jet lag is still making me feel a bit less than human, most of them will have to wait a day or two.  I have added a couple...

Away from my desk…

actually, I’m out of the country! I’m in Italy to be exact! I’ll be gone for a couple of weeks and will NOT be checking voicemail or email, but leave a message anyway, as I will be playing “catch up” upon my return. Grazie!
