I love making coffee table books for clients and my own family… but I’ve always struggle with how to show the proofs before sending it to the printer. Well, not any longer! I got some handy dandy new software that makes an online viewer of a book! YIPPEE! Now proofing and sharing images/layouts of books is a breeze! Here’s a book I made for a wonderful family as a surprise for Father’s Day! Shhhhhh since Father’s Day is still a week away. *get shopping if you’ve forgotten!*

The Missing Years…

I realized the other day that I have a good chunk my of my oldest daughter’s life, only on my hard drive… virtually no photos printed. So I’ve resolved to go back and start printing family photos. The first two of many many books arrived this week. There is just something about holding a book full of your family photos that a slideshow or digital frame can’t compete with. It warmed my heart to see my youngest remembering the fun we had last fall (I didn’t say I’ve made it back in time very far!) in front of the fireplace.

It's just not the same, trying to cuddle up with a laptop...
