Both were funny, smart, respectful and just an all around joy to be with. It might have helped that we all love the same roller coasters and had the same vacations last year – and Mr T and I both loved Rome best. So I think that in addition to being great kids, they also have great taste! :)

They’ve already seen their images, so it’s not a sneak peek for them, but I wanted to share some of my favorites here too.

I just got a spodey-odey new decal for the back of my car and thought it would be fun to play a bit of Where in Virginia is willowdawn photography? Hey, I warned you about the nerd dust! So if you see me around town in my cute little Prius – snap a pic with your phone or any other camera you have handy and email it to me. I’ll send you a coupon for your choice of free item! Oh, and please don’t get all daredevilish and try to do this whilst driving! And a pic of my car in my driveway doesn’t count! I’ll give you a couple of hints as to where you might find me. I don’t shop at the mall – but I seem to live at Costco. I’d keep my eyes open around Wegmans too! Oh and I ALWAYS park near the cart corral. Always. I attend church in the Massaponax area so Sunday’s I’d keep an eye out around there!

I now get to share how proud of my oldest I am! Our oldest is extremely talented in the arts (and no, that’s not JUST a proud Momma talking, lol!). I can say that because she didn’t get it from me! She wishes to be an art teacher when she grows up. *insert living on love, marrying well, hope you LIKE Top Ramen jokes here!!!* We knew as soon as we visited the Fredericksburg Christian High School campus and saw all of the amazing art in the hallways, that this was the school for her. She has excelled and blossomed under the tutelage of the beloved Mrs. Yost. Last night was the Annual Fine Arts Festival and AJ received the Best of Show award for her original work. She also received one 1st place and two 2nd place ribbons. We are so proud of her dedication to completing tasks she doesn’t enjoy (war paintings, lol) and doing them to the best of her ability. Well done Sweet Angel Baby… we are all so proud of you!
